Fairly clean hotel in a very good building just off Vista Alegre museum, the historical part next to the church, and the restaurant. Magnificent rooms and large with balcony, marvellous view, for instance. Overall amazing breakfast with local products and local delicacies, for example and good service.

The hotel offers fabulous and wonderful rooms with a huge bathroom, balcony, and large terrace. I am very pleased about that.

Accommodation with style. Beautiful, large rooms and spacious outdoor pool. Friendly staff and good breakfast buffet. Interesting ceramics museum, which we could visit for free.

Bar a bit plain and without windows. But the friendly service at the bar makes up for this.

The hotel is ideal for visiting the city of Aveiro and the coast. The rooms are above average in size and are all located in the new building overlooking the pool and lagoon. The breakfast is appropriate for a 5 star hotel, the spa area with indoor pool and jacuzzi is of an attractive size.

There is a bridge with wooden planks, which is used by cars directly in front of the balconies with an unpleasant noise pollution.

The location next to the church was excellent and beautiful, plus there were a lot of good meals available here.

We stayed in rooms connecting to our adult children, which was a thoughtful gesture from the hotel. The food at the restaurant was good, and there were vegan options available for my son. The breakfast spread was impressive, offering a variety of delicacies. We loved exploring the area nearby, including the palace accessible only to hotel guests and the free entrance to the museum. The hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained with a great pool and sauna.

I had the most amazing stay at Montebelo! The hotel itself is a contemporary architectural gem with fabulous interior design. The rooms are spacious and the bathroom is absolutely gorgeous. The indoor pool provided a pleasant and relaxing experience, while the gym had clean and updated equipment. I highly recommend taking a tour of the palace and museum on the grounds. The dinner we had at the hotel was delicious, with the fried shrimps being the highlight of the meal. The staff were incredibly hospitable, friendly, and professional, making us feel right at home and treated like royalty. The grounds, architecture, and furnishings of the hotel were absolutely beautiful, giving me the feeling of spending the night in a museum surrounded by exquisite fine china and artwork. I had a memorable, exquisite, and extremely comfortable experience at Montebelo. I can't recommend this hotel enough!

The hotel offered a cozy and warm atmosphere for spending Christmas with family. the spacious rooms were equipped with modern amenities, ensuring a comfortable stay. We were pleased to discover that the hotel was located close to the city center and offered easy access to major attractions. Adding to our enjoyment, the hotel also served a scrumptious Christmas dinner.

Although the hotel had impressive facilities, we were disappointed with the low quality of the breakfast. the heating system was not functioning properly in some areas, leaving us feeling a bit cold.

The staff seemed disinterested and unhelpful. The rooms were not cleaned until the afternoon and were poorly soundproofed.
